Talking of mooncake, I just had the worst one ever. It was one of those fusion ones, some cross between pineapple cake (fung lei sow / feng li su) filling wrapped in mooncake pastry. Tasted fake and rubbery and the missing buttery crust of a proper pineapple cake just made the whole thing worse.
