John the new recorder’s mic sounds nice. Great sound, much better than Binaural mics. Makes me want to pick one of those Zoom H1 recorders up. Thanks for the info on the “Air”. I’ll check out the link. Don’t mind me, I’m hyper-sensitive at times. It’s just my way. All is good. I am excited. Obama came to Birmingham on Sunday. John your podcast friends speak of a “Blue snowball mic”. My opinion? The “Blue snowball” mic sounds awful. Glad you don’t use one. I’m listening to the link you gave me now. Those guys need to get a better microphone. The content is cool. The sound is horrendous. I came so close to buying the Zoom H1. It sounds so good. I guess that’s why I came to you originally about the “Air” cause I know you have good taste in audio equipment for podcasting. N e way boi, I love you man. Is your kitty purring? Later

Nick, you are an audio whore, well, like me. Anyway, I actually have a Zoom H2, not H1. The H2 is cheaper, but actually has the ability to record surround sound because it has 4 mic capsules. Google it. You may like it.

Yes, I meant the H2. I just get my numbers confused! Sorry. And yes, I think I am an audio whore in addition to a regular one to. Mics are sorta like phallic symbols aren’t they?
