Shout back out to the listeners on my Frappr Map. Felicia’s song for me! You have to check it out. Self image. Tiny eyes, flat nose, fat face, and “mango” chin. Show related links: |
Hi John,
Thanks for the ShoutOut!
I don’t know Jason, even though we live in the same town… But because of your frappr map, it was cool to find someone in CT that listens to your show, too. Right now we’ve just been e-mailing each other.

Oh, how nice. I am really enjoying seeing all of you on my frappr map.
Jason is a wonderful singer.
Hi John,
I have just started listening to you programs in the hokkien podcast segments but i thought your interview in the Penang podcast was especially good.
I like the part where you mentioned that human beings are multi layered and understanding only one layer is never enough. Well said!
Take care and nice job with the hokkien podcasts!

Of course I’m still here! I made it past the lunch podcasts. heh. I’m just having some problems with your feed. grrr. I’m also still waiting for a video!! Thank you for your honesty. Honesty in itself is profound. 😉 Beautiful you.
You know this was a good topic. Everyone has their insecurities about themselves. It is truly about loving yourself and accepting who you are no matter if you have a flat nose or tiny nose. As you have already found your “hubby” who loves you. One more comment that I would like to say is that being gay in the gay community is hard. We are gay and we are minorities (well depending on where you live lol….if your Asian living in OC I would think you are not a minority.) Anyways, with so many people out there who are superficial as if being gay wasn’t hard enough we have to deal with others who only look on the surface. Until times change….we can only love ourselves and that is truly the first step to accepting who we are!
Yup. This is the first time i downloaded from your show that is non-mischievious related. I enjoyed the show and I want to hear more from your program.
I just finished listening to this edition. I would like to point out the issue about the “style show” regarding the girl who seems to be bragging about the cost of the bag. Well she may be bragging or just someone who is very rich since when she was a kid that she does not know the value of money for an average person.
It is also good to be philosophical and this kind of instance does brought you to a nice oppurtunity to reflect. What is it about that statement made you react that way? Why do people brag? What is the cause of mans insecurity? Where do we based our identity on?
More power to your show. 🙂
