    Thanks. 🙂
It was such a luxury to take a day off and go out to take photos.

Some great pics John. I think my favorite of the bunch is the Bloch Building at the Kemper. Great contrast between the blandness of the almost warehouse type building and the lushness of the green grass and the blue sky.

Although the Bloch addition is quite ugly during the day, IMO its quite spectacular at night.

Thanks Greg. I agree, when the Boxes glow, it’s quite an amazing sight. I will be going back out for evening shots with Bruce again.

BTW, when I post more of my pictures, see if you can pick out some of those locations in town. 🙂

    John,
Is this done with the XACTI? Is it true that with interpolation you can get 10MP from the 6MP camera…how does that work?

You have Orchids and I have Irises! Check it out!

    Hadi,
    Yes, all from my Xacti.
It is possible, but I’m not sure if it really gives you an actual 10MP picture. It just made the pixelation softer and appear to be higher resolution. I think I only set mine to shoot at 5MP.
    Where are your irises?

The irises are on the blog!

    Hi, John,

Great shots. All the more I want to see the grounds of the Nelson-Atkins in the summer.

Norman, if you come back, stay over a weekend, we can do the museum. It’s quite nice. I was thinking about you as you are leaving this comment. I went though my closet and found the shirt you gave me. It’s a bit big for me now. Now that I’m a skinny bitch… not. Anyway, I’ll take a picture next time.
