I talk about controversy. Responding to Chef Mark’s comment on last week’s show. Voice comments from Zillafag. Big heads of some podcasters. I have a life when my mic is turned off. A real life.

John, I think you handled yourself very well in this. No one wants to get caught up in all that unecessary drama with other people. You wanna help, but its just not your place. They didnt insult you, they insulted them. But, like you said..even after one meeting, its nothing sealed yet. But, you handled yourself. And I am proud of you. I do want to wish Chef Mark the best of luck and I want to pass the energy of strength his way. I know exactly what he is going through. I feel it on youtube as I vlog. But, its crazy to go and thrust yourself into that when its not your place. I just want Chef Mark to have the strength to block and delete those people.
Hey… im now at 253 of your podcast and cant wait to get to 282… im trying to catch up with your podcast after i got my iPhone last 2 weeks… and ur podcast are superb! keep in touch and keep them up yeah!
Hey John, very interesting. Sorry to hear that so much drama goes on [or was going on] around you. Poor Mark, he’s adorable. *Tee hee giggle giggle* (like a Japanese school girl).
Your take on open relationships is interesting. It sort of opens up a whole new can of worms. I think I am coming more to terms of what’s going on with me and I’ve been working on getting my relationship back together. It’s going OK. 🙂 Better, at least.
Anyway, it’s always a joy to listen when I have a chance. Thanks for the entertainment.
Thanks for the info. Sorry . . . I guess I am a bit of a “busy body”. 😛 I talk a little about what you had to say here in my podcast aptly named, “Controversy”. I stole the name from you. No one likes me for long so I’m wondering what I’ll ultimately say that will make you hate me to. In the mean time . . . I love you John Ong.
I really respect what you had to say, and in general, I agree with you: It’s just not worth the energy to get into these fights. Sometimes, the best thing to do is to just unsubscribe, and sometimes I’ve done that. On the other hand, if someone goes after someone I’m friendly with, I tend to feel protective of my friends, uh, frenz. But my nature is to deal with people on a one-on-one basis, anyway. For me, I think being so far from American podcasters is a positive sometimes because I miss out on a lot of the dramas. Anyway, thanks so much for sharing your thoughts over these last two episodes!
There is SO much I could say about this but I’m going refrain to help get past this. You are so wonderful, John.
John, I enjoyed the show. I always listen to Mark and love to hear his perspective and his rationale. Mark has always been open to other perspectives which I cannot say about other podcasts. Thanks for talking about the drama, it is really too bad that Mark was subjected to the bs, however he has handled it very well.
Some seem to subscribe to a monolithic view of the world supported by others with the same views!

Hi John,
Just started catching up on my podcast listening due to a recent train trip to California and back.
As far as this subject goes, I think you hit the nail on the head when you said that sometimes you just have to move on. Enough said.
By the way, September is approaching fast, will you be singing at the Plaza Art Fair again this year? You should post some video this year if you will be performing.
Wow, thanks for all your comments. I think I haven’t had that many comments for a while. I guess fucking controversies do bring ratings! I hope there’s more to this. Getting people to think is a good thing.
Muhammad, thanks for your comments and encouragement. Sounds like you started listening not too long ago. Thanks for the comment.
And all of you regulars, thanks so much for your input and support. I will try to answer and respond to the comments on my next show.
Greg, I should be singing again this year. We gotta meet at least once before Plaza Art Fair, don’t you think?
What a great podcast. You are right on!
