Sorry about your princess, Taché. She is a beautiful cat. I can tell how much you love her from this podcast. She feels your love. And that is all you need do. I haven’t had a pet in many years, but I remember my last kitty. His name was Blackie . . . original lol. My cat disappeared one evening and I worried about that cat for weeks. I’d go out from time to time and call him. One night when I was out on the steps I heard a faint meow. I decided to call his name. “Blackie!” The meow grew louder and finally he came running up to me. I was never happier. I thought I’d lost my cat. He was probably out just having a little fun. Like one would expect from the cat of Nick Thomas. Keep your chin up John. We all love you out here.

    Be strong John.

I really had a hard time listening to your podcast while holding back my tears. I know what you are going thru right now. I just lost my dog last month. He suddenly lost his appetite then i took him to the vet and they said he just lost appetite due to some tick issues. They gave him a vitamin jab and told us that he was gonna be fine. He looked a bit better the next day but he was still not eating eventhough we prepared all his favourite foods. The third day i took him back to the vet and I was prepared for the worst. Surprisingly the vet said that he should be fine and tried force feeding him some special dog food that he said would help him get his energy back. I end up buying two of those and went home force feeding him every 2 hours with the hope of seeing some improvement. By 5 pm, I can see that he was nowhere near getting better and was getting ready to bring him to the vet again but when i changed clothes i couldn’t find him where I left him. After a 5 minute search I found him under our couch, lifeless……..

Till this day I still don’t know the cause of his sudden death and I hated the vet for giving us false hope or to the certain extent that he did not do anything to make him better and just told us that he would be all right. I guess the standard of the vets in Malaysia are just that : not well trained and just plain don’t care. And to think that he was one of the biggest vet pratice in Penang.

Hang in there John. I believe she has spent many great time with you and Bruce and those memories will last forever. Love her as you always have and spend quality time with her so that the love can make her feel more comfortable.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Take care.

    Thank you Neil.
It’s hard. I’m trying to stay positive and focus on her life than her future death. Boy, but was that hard to do.

Thanks Stephie. She won’t heal from what she has. But she is doing great so far. She’s comfortable and happy.
