Ongline HD #42 Rojak

by | Jun 2, 2011 | Podcast | 2 comments

This episode, I take you back to my hometown Penang. We visited the Majestic Rojak, which is a renowned rojak stall. Rojak is a fruit salad that has some interesting ingredients that will probably make you squirm. It also contains cuttle fish and the black sticky sauce is actually fermented shrimp paste.

I was drooling when I saw the title — Rojak — then I realized that Penang rojak is different from what we have in Singapore. Thanks for sharing 🙂

That’s right. Our rojak is very different from the south. The southern rojak is close to what we call pasembur.
