Love the show and all your guests. Just a quick note, there’s actually a pretty big gay subculture in Malaysia, especially in larger cities is K.L. and Penang. In fact, K.L. has a few popular gay dance clubs, gay “spas and message parlors” and even “bath houses” right in heart of the city centre like Central Market and Bukit Bintang area (close to Petronas Twin Tower). Cruising is very common at certain malls and along the strip of sidewalk – “Bintang Walk” (close to J.W. Marriott), sometimes refered as Catwalk by locals. However, a huge majority of homos are still very closeted and most activities are underground. It’s still very risky to engage in homosexual activites. Thanks for the information. I’m going to work on getting someone with more experience living as a gay man, out or not, in Malaysia. I hope I’ll be able to get someone currently living in Malaysia who is willing to talk about gay scene back home. Thanks for the link.
