This is a LONG show. But please listen to it. If I don’t think it’s significant, I would not have left it in. It is a genuine discussion between four of us. Three Asians. One Caucasian. UPDATE: Thanks for pointing it out to me that the link was bad. I’m crazy. It should be fixed now. Thanks Vicent and Colin. |
john, the url is not working… 😀

Mikeypod: Hopefully it would get some attention. And I think it’s quite apt for the topic of discussion. Thanks for being on the show.
Oh, DODOL, I know you , You voice appeared on Archerr’s show last year ! Nice, miss your sweet voice.
-Edited by John Ong to continue the anonymity of my guest Dodol. 😀
But I want to be clear. I am not conferring nor denying the identity, I’m just replacing names with “Dodol” to stay consistent.
Vincent, that’s why we edited the name out. To maintain his anonymity.
Oops, sorry, maybe I mentioned the wrong guy.
Very good show.
John, you are right. Men do usually look for solutions rather than just discuss it. Of course, none of you would have read about that is Men are Mars, Women are from Venus. 😉
Too bad, MikeyPod was so quiet, sound wise.
Sharon,
Thanks for the comment. I don’t think I have heard from you. At least not in a while, and not here in the comment area.
Are you Sharon from Tampon? 😉
(If you are, you’ll laugh. If you’re not, you’ll scream!)
Oh John & Dodol, so sorry, i m so dumb ! shame on me 🙂
Wow, what a discussion. It’s really good… so many points…
You’re working on a few different levels here, being Asian, being gay, being Asian and gay.
And I would agree with Mikepod in that a lot of what you say about stereotypes goes for all gay guys and not just Asian ones… but really, stereotypes are a tough issue!
Especially as it’s one thing to get offended when people use stereotypes as an insult (or whatever) and yet many people live up to those stereotypes, but why do they do that? Of course, we also play with the stereotypes just for fun… On and on it goes!
Still, this was a great discussion, even if I had to listen to it twice to get my head around it all.
