And “Lost” speaks to me. You’re a Buble fan to if I remember correctly. I’d love to here you sing one of his more recent songs on a podcast sometime. N e way, love ya. I think you should do what is right foe you. Like Archerr, I so find the sex talk to be accessive for me. As long as irbid genuine. I think you’ll hit the right audience. Don’t change for me or Archerr. It’s your podcast.
My mic is a $99 Behringer. Yours is actually better. I also have a $99 preamp. I think you sound great I your shows.

I’m actually doing all communications using my iPhone, including responding the comments. My HD is dead. My MacBook is in the shop. I’m feeling very uneasy and almost crippled without my computer. Thank goodness I have my phone to deal with emails and some things foe my site.
if this continues for a week, I won’t be able to do a show. I hope to get back my computer on Friday. Could be later.

Glad to hear your mother is doing fine. And sorry to hear you are going through computer withdrawal.
I think at some point, any performer, or podcaster would come to a point where one just have to start doing things without only thinking about the audience. Especially those who are not doing it for fame and money.
You can’t please everyone. You find those who like your shows and those who don’t. Some may like a part of your show and not other.
regarding the sex talk. I do enjoy it when it’s a genuine talk. But things get repeated over and over again, and to my ears, they are all becoming the same gimmick. That makes me lose interest. I’m not saying that that part of Nick’s show isn’t genuine. I’m not him, I can’t decide that for him. But that’s how it appears to me. But to others it may really strike a chord. We don’t do podcasts for one person. More reason a to not focus too much on listeners. Express yourself or tour art through your podcasts. Let those who want to follow, follow. Those who leave, leave.
I’m not at all not interested in sex. I’m very into it. On Nick’s show he asked me to comment on whether or not I like porn. Hell yes. I just don’t talk about it too much on my own shows because that isn’t what I want to express. I think striking a balance and representing oneself in a personal journal is very hard to achieve. Takes skills. Otherwise, you just have to settle for misunderstanding or misrepresentation of yourself.
Yep, still here John! Thanks for the compliment. Funny you said I looked very familiar, I get that a lot. I just have one of those faces that everyone thinks they have seen before. But who knows, maybe we have crossed paths, especially if you live in midtown. And since you say you work retail, now you have me curious as to where you work!
