Through one of my listeners in Penang, I was introduced to this fascinating, smart, and interesting author from Singapore. She was born in Penang (my hometown) and is currently living in Singapore. She has some interesting stories to share and is such a great storyteller. I hope you’ll enjoy our chat as much as we did.

If you are interested in purchasing Joan’s books. Please email her at ffjoan [at] gmail [dot] com. Or send me an email, and I’ll forward that over to her.

Parents are Leaving

iGear up for the iTrip iHome., originally uploaded by John Ong.

Hi to all my listeners. Sorry that I have been away. I have been trying to spend as much time as possible with my parents while they’re here visiting.

But, all good times must come to an end. We’re saying our goodbyes now. I just checked them in and make sure their iPad is ready for the trip. And I’m waiting with them in front of the gate.

When they’re home. I should be able to come back to podcasting. And I’ll have a lot to talk about. Thank you for understanding my absence.

Mom’s Cooking

The best kind of meal., originally uploaded by John Ong.

Sorry for all my podcast listeners that I haven’t been updating my shows. I have just been busy enjoying my parents. They will be here for another two more weeks. And I’m sure I’ll have more to share with you then.

We all know how mom’s cooking is, it always hits the spot. A very simple and modest meal can taste as good as a five-star restaurant’s banquet.

Thanks to all those who found me recently on iTunes via Prider48.com and Pride48 in iTunes internet radio listings. I promise, I will be back.
