Casio VL-TONE

I remember as a kid, I LOVE this toy. It’s the Casio VL-TONE. I recently came across an article about this keyboard/toy on Engadget.com and eBay.com.

The funny thing is, it wasn’t even mine. The keyboard belings to my neighbor. But I always want to play with it when I go over to play, or when they come over. And what’s weirder is, we actually have a real piano at home, and an organ. But I guess that explains my love for gadgets since I was a little boy.

    Hy John,

I totally love the VL-Tone. I owned one as a child and totally loved it growing up in Thailand. It never caught on though, I am musically challenged unlike you!

Keep up the great work….I love your singing voice and Wanda Wisdom’s theme that you created for her is very punchy!

Yes, that picture of the Casio Tone brought back a lot of memory for me. I should have a show with you on, or vice versa and talked about childhood in SEA (South East Asia).

Thanks for posting this photo… I guess I was lucky since I own one of this baby when I was a kid… I am a music retard and wonder why I was lucky enough to get that from my dad… Must be something good I did… But this keyboard brings back a lot of memory for me too… Maybe i should reinvent the memory for my children..

Thanks John for bring this up!

May, thanks for your comment. It’s amaIng how a picture of an old toy can bring back so much memory. Thanks for sharing 🙂
